Case Study 1 - Telco Private Messaging

One of Malaysia's largest mobile phone operators chose the unique Bond Wireless SMS SecureTrans application to offer an innovative Personal Messaging product to their own clientele. The product enables messages to be sent from one customer to another and in the process request the receiving messenger to enter a password that confirms that the right person can access the message. The sending party receives a confirmation that the message was received by the recipient.

The application has numerous practical uses for the subscribers of the Telco and has been accepted by law firms, lovers and government agencies as a simple but effective tool for verifying the right person received the message or that the receiver accessed a time critical message that had been sent. The auto registration processes available within SecureTrans make the management of the service very cost effective. The Telco was able to implement the service with our charging SIM cards or adapting their existing messages platforms.

An additional benefit for the carrier has been the ability to charge a premium for the message price as consumers see the value to them of being able to verify who did or did not receive a particular message.

Case Study 2 - 3G Data Services

Bond Wireless provides a simple desktop application in conjunction with the sale of 3/3.5 G modems that enables Telco data customers to establish a two way text message and VoIP conversations with other customers in 2/2.5G networks. The simplicity of the Bond Wireless solution means that the customers do not need to access the SIM and it can be securely locked inside the modem.
