Bond Wireless was formed in 2002, to create purpose built ICT applications that used SMS as their key communications medium. Today Bond Wireless operates in 9 countries and provides a range of business focused applications into a variety of markets. Bond Wireless has developed core patented technology that provides our customers with a unique authentication and validation capability. Bond Wireless will continue to expand the number of industry sectors in which we have development partners who can exploit our core technology. Bond Wireless currently has customers and channel partners in Malaysia, Singapore, Kenya, UAE, USA, UK, Thailand and Australia. In 2007 Bond Wireless will integrate VOIP as an additional capability into its core gateways and applications.
Intellectual Property
Bond Wireless holds patents for the SMS AV technology developed in house. SMS AV (SMS Authenticate and Verify) enables the non-repudiation of SMS recipients without expensive changes to handsets and networks. SMS AV has been deployed into the medical, telecommunications and finance industries. Bond Wireless also holds patents for its unique SMS Print technology that enables any windows based application to print to a mobile phone using SMS as the carriage medium.
Strategic Initiatives
Bond Wireless is currently pursuing a dual JV/Franchise strategy to grow the distribution of our products. The JV element of our strategy is to establish a localised presence for the management and support of the operational activities of our customers and franchisees. The Franchising model is targeting key markets to establish sales and marketing operations across a number of key regions. In addition Bond Wireless has developed relationships with other key software developers and vendors to incorporate our core technology elements into their applications. These include: Slap Systems; Caradata; Alive Technologies; AMLINK; SDC International. |
